RGS and Apso launch Chromatone™ Colour Explorer CD-ROM.

Chromatone and Apso have jointly developed a CD-ROM based version of the Chromatone Colour Atlas yarn system to produce a unique recolouring tool for the Carpet Industry.

Chromatone's Sales Manager, Ian Robertson, said, "Down the years, we have had many requests for the Chromatone™ Colour Atlas system on CD-ROM and we are delighted to be working with Apso on this exciting project. The Chromatone™ Colour Explorer software is already in high demand with our existing Colour Atlas users and we are confident that it is going to be an invaluable tool especially when used in conjunction with the Chromatone™ yarn poms."

Chromatone™ was first developed to provide a yarn based colour reference system for the carpet trade and has become the unrivalled standard in this area. The new electronic version of Chromatone™ called Colour Explorer enables a design to be loaded, viewed, zoomed, recoloured (automatically or manually) into Chromatone™ colours and then printed or saved to disk". Chromatone™ Colour Explorer supports popular image formats and operate in Windows™ 95/98/NT and 2000. The software will be launched at the Harrogate Carpet Show on September 4-6 and will cost £295/$495 per copy.
